Check what pool access actually includes
A pool shown in a photograph may have access restrictions, maintenance periods or separately charged facilities. Ask whether access is included in the room offer, which guests can use it and whether it is expected to operate during your stay.
Choose between a central base and hotel downtime
A pool can be a major part of a relaxed stay, but it may be less useful if you spend every day away from the property. Balance the hotel’s setting and transport needs against the time you intend to spend using the pool.
Travelling with children? Ask more
Confirm children’s access, pool depth, any separate children’s area and supervision rules directly with the hotel. A family room offer does not automatically include particular pool facilities. Include any essential access needs in your request.
Before you choose
- Pool access included in the offered total
- Pool operating during your dates
- Children’s access and supervision rules
- Changing facilities and towel charges
Questions & answers
Is pool access always free for hotel guests?
Not necessarily. Ask the hotel to state whether pool access and towels are included in the personal offer.
Can I make a swimming pool essential?
Yes. Mark it as a must have in your request. The hotel still needs to confirm the facility and availability in its offer.
